Any advice on re-foaming or putting rubber around the speaker cones? Where to buy? for
rowe 100 8 or 10" speakers.
thanks

Yeah, don't rush it, make sure you clean up all the old crumbly foam. Another tip is to let the glue get a little tacky before you put the parts together. Make sure you don't have any air bubbles in the seal. Then set them someplace where it won't get disturbed for several hours, overnight is best.

I got 3 done, got 3 more to go. Here is a couple pics. I didn't take out the center cover, I just took my time and made sure they were centered. Teedious but not hard at all. They sound good.

I just used elmers glue all. Seemed to work ok, I guess time will tell.
I didn't remove all of the old sticky residue from around the outer metal, I thought it would help it stick better than if I removed it all and made it smooth.

Thanks. I ordered the surrounds today. $10 shipped! Probably another $3-4 for glue. Beats $50 per speaker any day!

I did scrape all of the excess glue off the rim. I was able to remove the gaskets so I can reuse them once I get the surrounds glued down. I'll post pics when complete. Can't wait for the surrounds to arrive now...
