Re: Addams Question

Hello all,

I went with a friend to see an Addams tonight and had a question for him. The machine looked nice and the cabinet seemed to be in very good shape as it has no fade, no major scratches, no noticeable hacks under the the playfield and in the backbox, and I did not see any acid damage on the PCB. For the most part, the playfield looked nice, however, there were indeed a few items I wanted to check:

1). The Mansion had some wear at the "grace yard at max" and "hit cousin it" windows
2). There was a bubble under the maylar in the "R" target (for GREED)
3). One opto was out in the bookcase (only error I saw)
4). Topper was there but did not flash
5). The ball got stuck once after Thing took it
6). The metal divider between the two left outlanes was pushed down

Again, the rest of the mahcine looked great and seemed to play well. The seller wants $3250 (firm). Is this a good price for him given the issues?

Thanks all!

I''d say it'd be a fair price if the mechanical issues didn't exist. Tell the seller if he/she wants to fix #'s 3,4,5,6 that you'd take it.

The mylar bubble - I'd personally remove the mylar anyway.
The masion decals being worn is typical - new ones can be had cheap.

If seller doesn't want to fix it for that price then walk away. There are still fully working shopped out Addams to be had for that kind of money.
Granted the issues are minor but for that money it shoud be plug and play.
