Are there different versions of this game? I had a gu say he wanted the one with all the greats listed on all the teams. I thought this was the only one. I thought there was one and maybe its the playchoice that could play multiple games in it including the RBI. Is that true or am I just making things up in my mind?

The one with all the legends = Vs RBI = best baseball game, ever.

The NES version had different teams/rosters. People have said there is a Playchoice version, but Ive never seen it.

Odds are the Playchoice version is based on the NES version. That's just the way Playchoice games are.

With that said, I should try playing my Vs. RBI Baseball. I have it in my Red Tent, but have it turned so it's facing the wall and Vs Golf is out. I do hear the pop flies from the other side when it's in attract mode though.

Are you talking about the AL and NL All Star teams? Other than that, the rosters of the other teams are pretty much who was on them at the time, no?

I think its supposed to be what he said, no all star teams just the all stars whoplayed on the different teams.

lol sorry, nobody is making coffee around the office and i havent fully woke up up.

I think all the teams have their greatest players on the VS. version not just random scrubs..:)

Correct- the vs. version has ALL-TIME greats for every team. i.e. Ruth, Mantle, Berra, Gehrig, etc. on the Yankees.
Really? Has it been this long since I have played this? Jow? Jow? When will you be bringing my Red Ten... er, vising your parents next? :D

Holy crap! I'm in console land. Didn't even remember this, thanks Jow! Can't wait to get this. :)

The Vs version rosters blow the NES version out of the water. Its great playing with the legends.

I'd take a Bucco hack! Yes, 18 straight losing seasons, but a storied franchise nonetheless, with plenty of talent all through the eras. The Padres on the other hand... not so much. Sorry Sav.

What would an all-time great Padres team look like? Tony Gwynn...after that, I'm drawing a blank. Dave Winfield? The pride of Evansville, Indiana, Andy Benes might end up making the rotation.
