I must say that I'd be interested if they can work out the kinks. Doubt I'd use it much, but I sure would love to have one...

The keys can be set to whatever you want. Instead of using individual displays under each key like the Optimus Keyboard, there's just a second screen under the entire keypad. Neat.

if it is fast enough to run starcraft2 and diablo3, I'll take it.

my guess is that it will be too slow, and too expensive, but I really like the idea. I hope it gets released.

This either wont be powerful enough or it will cost wayy to much. Still, it's a good idea. Can't wait to see the final product.

I think that's awesome pending the price. If u can buy a real laptop for close in price then it might fail.

Well, in theory if this is more powerful and could run more games than a "real laptop" it may be worth it. I've never had much luck with games on any of my laptops and at least two of mine were top of the line at the time, with one of those supposedly specifically for gaming (lies!).

I'm with most everyone else though, it will likely be too underpowered and/or expensive. The overheating issue they mentioned kinda makes me think that they're trying, but even they're skeptical about if and when this could be a reality.

That optimus keyboard is a beast... I almost crapped myself when it came out, and the price it had.

I would like to see this thing work. I'm all about minimalization nowa days... I think if they can get it to run all the newer or more high end games on at least the native resolution of the LCD, and decent texture detail I would be happy. I gave up on maxing out my performance once I ran out of money, lol.

Let's all be honest here, though - don't expect it to run Crysis by any means. I'd be happy if it could run all the Source games with no issues and Minecraft with Fancy graphics and Far rendering enabled (don't fool yourself, that game is a hog due to poor optimization).

If it could do that and had a reasonable price tag, I'd be all over it.

Seems interesting enough, but they don't really explain how mouse control is supposed to work. They mention that the screen is a touch screen, but come on, that doesn't really work. There's a USB port, so obviously regular mouse control is still there, but they act like you shouldn't need one.

Also, what's up with that "market" type interface? Don't tell me I'll have to rebuy my games just to play them on this thing...it better just be a standard PC in a portable form factor...

lol, I wonder if that computer is water-cooler, err.. beer-cooled.

there is one phrase used in this video that makes me doubt that this thing will do what we want it to. "powerful atom processor" the atom processor has a lot of great features, I did not realize power was one of them.

I am typing this on a 9 inch netbook, which makes me wonder if a 7 inch device may be too small. it is sometimes hard to play diablo2 and quakelive on this thing, I can't imagine a 7inch screen would work well on recent games.
