Rate Your Own Collection

I would rate mine a 5. There a lot of games that I would like to add someday, but I like most of the games I have now. Most of them need some work, but 5 out of 8 are playable. Hopefully 2 of the others will be playable by the end of the month. My poor High Speed pin needs a lot of work to be playable. Why did I ever tear that one down? Doh! I am trying to get my girlfriend to like centipede though so maybe she will trade out her DK3 for one. No luck so far.

This thread clearly points out whos glass is "half full" or "half empty". My arcade if I can call it that is a 4. Mostly due to the fact that I dont have a dedicated arcade room so I have games scattered everywhere.

Is the glass half full or half empty? Who cares. Just get a smaller glass and be happy.

Mine ranks a 7, some stuff yet to fix, more stuff yet to own. I doubt it would ever rank a 10 because the collector in me never seems satisfied...

I'd rate my collection a 7.5. All of my games are working and in pretty good shape, but I'm missing some key games for a complete gameroom, namely the vertical classics (Pac, DK, etc). Also, if gameROOM is a consideration, my new rating is a 2, since they're in the garage.

Yeah, I'm really just wanting a rating on your collection of games and not the room there in. But you can add that if you like.

On the one hand I'd rate mine a 4. Theres a few more to get working and a few more to find. But consdering I'm out of space and my primary room of games has 10 working out of twelve, I would say a solid 7. But on the other hand, a non working Star Wars Cockpit and my homicidal Qbert (only cause its trying to kill me) brings it down so an average of 5.5 with a very pleasant albeit scattered game playing collection.

6 I have some great games I really enjoy and a bunch of project cabs. It seems the stuff I fix up I sell and the stuff I want to keep stays broken.

For the space I have available, I'm pretty happy. I just have to work on the actual room to make it more arcade-like. I love what gorfchampion has done to his floor... I'm thinking that is what I want to do to our floor.

I rate my collection a 9*, yes, with an asterisk, because the majority of it is in storage. I have some kick ass games, some on the way, and my stuff for the most part is very nice.

I would have to say only a 3. All I have is a Frogger (non-dedicated) with a crappy joystick, buttons and color problems on the monitor. But, I do enjoy the game and at least I have something at the moment. At least until I get another game soon...

Hmmm, a 2 from me as I have 1 machine, but it is a nice JROK multi Williams )).

However, if all goes well, I'll be doubling my collection this weekend - will let you know about that once the new machine gets here.

I've covered the basis fairly well, touching all genres I could. I just want more before I'm satisfied. Wish List: Street Fighter 2, Star Wars, and another jamma cab.

Well, I think Phet's is definitely a 9, but as already said, people have to rate their own. I'd rate mine at a 9 also, all machines are working, all those on the want list have been acquired but I'm still missing a Star Wars. Plus I'd like any working laserdisk to round out the collection.

Dude, I rate yours a 10. Easily.

Sure, there are a *few* things I'd do differently to your gameroom if it were mine, but you sir, have a quality, quality gameroom.

I'd go with a 4. There are many games I still don't have, mostly because of a lack of room. One day I'll have the space...

I would rate my collection 7, pretty satisfied overall.
i would rate my gameroom 5, because its a garagecade.
if i somehow make more room i would add one more pinball, and add 4 vids:
Battlezone, asteroids deluxe, Mario bros.,and cheyanne.
