Rastan back to Robotron 2084

Robotron is one of few relatively common classics worth dumping money and time into restoring like that (hunting parts). You could most likely fill the control panel and reuse it. Sometimes some of the guts are still in a conversion, but mostly likely you'd be lucky if the original p/s was still there.

You'd need:

marquee - repro
bezel - plexi from Arcadeshop, or the very hard to find glass repro Darin did or an original
repro 4" sticks
Wico bases
wiring harness (repro may be available)
boardset

I am having the guy send me pictures of thei inside tonight.

How much would you think would be a resonable price to pay for something like this, keeping in mind it will be converted back to RT2084?

I just paid $100 for one in about the same condition. The sides are painted black on it, so I guess mine could also end up being a Joust.

I went the same way but used a JROK board since it was already JAMMA.
The base cab cost me $25 but it's been sort of a money pit for all of the pieces.

The MW cp was sort of one of the biggest expenses not counting artwork.

robotron complete cp on ebay this summer, went for around $125. haven't seen one since.
--marquee usually around 15-30.
--someone on here had a complete robotron board set for around 150.
--quarter arcade has some 8 way wico's the 4 inch version. or did last week. not cheap though.
--arcadeshop has replacement bezels. like 65?

sounds like a money pit unless you are looking for a project.
these guys in So Cal make it sound like a complete robotron is fairly inexpensive per prior threads.
