Rarest Playchoice game ever?

Sounds feasible, I suppose. I remember Capcom testing games up here at the Sunnyvale Golfland. I played a variation of SFII I have never seen anywhere else. This was right before SFII' came out.

He says his cousin gave him stuff from Sunsoft. I wonder what else he has? I wonder if I can go check it out.

I don't really know but I did notice some stuff from the picture. On the eproms there is always a 2 letters/digit to tell you what game is on the eprom the chips on the Blaster board are NF but NF is 1942. Also It would have the same 2 letters/digit on the security chip, on the Blaster board does not look like it says NF on the security chip. But who is to say Sunsoft didn't just convert a few boards because the Blaster sticker looks brighter than the serial # sticker. Also a google search yields that this game was announced for the Wii Virtual Console today and that Sunsoft has 9 Blaster Master PlayChoice boards at there Japan HQ.

8, lol

I sent a note to the seller asking if I can come check it out. He replied that it wasnt a problem at all. Anyone in SJ have a PC10 setup? I dont have one.

I am going to meet him at 6:30. I think I am more interested in the programmers notes. I love reading the Atari docs on Scotts website.

It has to be real. It's not like today is April Foo...

Oh, wait.

Could be af joke... but PR from sunsoftgames just wrote me back and said 10 games were made and they can only find 9... but they will not vouch for the authenticity of the eBay game.

Interesting... I just got the same email back from them :). And no, they won't sell any of the 9 they have.

It's bullshit. Come on... I bet even the Xbox announcement is bogus. NO ONE releases a legitimate product on April fools...

Maybe thats why they did it today, to really throw people off. I guess the VC version comes out later in the month. Maybe I should bring my Glock when I go see this thing....

(Bongo) Ben is a friend of mine and I believe him when he says he did the leg work by notifying Sunsoft. Armi, too, for that matter.

This certainly feels like a Frizz bullshit April Fools Joke, doesnt it?!? Rory was correct in the lead on the NF, labeled on the roms. Yes, they did do factory conversions. I've talked before about owning a SMB 3, that was converted from a SMB 2, which was originally a RBI. All the labels were there, in the same font as the auction.

All I can say is that it's possible. The original PC-10 flyers had "Coming Soon: Goonies 2, Ghosts and Goblins, and Kid Icarus". Again, it's possible.

BUT 11K!?!?!?!? :scared:

I'm thinking a BS promo for the Xbox version perhaps? The only thing that that makes it look legit in my eyes is the fact the ebayer isn't a zero feedback tool...

Perhaps Sunsoft is actually behind it to get publicity for the Xbox version... hence the reason they changed their tune from 9 made to 10? Not sure... but I know if I had a "rare" find I sure as hell wouldn't post it on April fools.

If it's still up tomorrow, it may be legit... my bet is it'll be pulled tomorrow.

11K, My god!!!

Im a nintendo freak too, but WOW.

I was hoping it go for 200$
