RARE UNIVERSAL 8003REED white balltop magnetic joysticks RESTORED

I have two more of these rare Universal joysticks for sale. Just finished restoring them.

These are the even more rare version with the height extenders on them:

$200 each shipped.

Yeah. I've never seen those before. How about a little educational background for those of us with inquiring minds.

My apologies, it was recently identified that it is for a Universal game called No Man's Land.

However, it may be used for other games as well by Universal.

Bumping, these almost NEVER come up for sale. If you are restoring a No Man's Land arcade, or maybe other Universal games that use a 8003 REED joystick, you need these...

Out of curiosity, are these some kind of early Hall Effect joysticks? They're pretty groovy looking.

Not a Hall Effect device.
The tiny magnet on the tip of the joystick attracts a metal leaf in the glass capsule of the reed switch, closing the circuit.

This is more of a physical component whereas a hall effect sensor is a semiconductor device.
