Ok. So some of you may have seen the photos and the video over in the General Discussions area of our recent rare game find of a Sega/Gremlin TACTICIAN here in Ohio.
I've tried for about two weeks to find out more about this game and it seems that no one has seen one, or even owns one. It has shown up on some Konami literature and Sega/Gremlin flyers/ads. The board inside is a Konami board. So they then licensed the game to a Sega/Gremlin. The game is dedicated and looks to be in pretty decent condition and plays great. It has about 7300 plays on the meter. The gameplay is very unique and a little on the difficult side to play. The sounds and music are great. My friend and I who bought this have no idea what it is worth. I don't collect Sega/Gremlin games, and neither does my friend.
Ideally it would be great to see this in a museum or arcade where the public could see it and play it, and be enjoyed by more than one person.
We think the value has to be between $1200-1500 because of it's extreme rarity.
We don't think it would be much more because it's a Sega/Gremlin game and not an Atari or Midway game. We could be wrong, but who knows. But $500 won't buy this game.
Game is in Lorain, Ohio 44055. We would prefer pickup, but we can work with you on shipping it if that's what you want to do here. If you're interested, please send me a PM.
I will give this about a week, and the best offer will be taken. Thanks.

I freakin love this, and want it. Have a few other possible buys right now which are draining the pocket. How far are you guys from the Canadian border you think?

About 3 hours from Buffalo. 5 hours to Toronto if my memory is correct.
Not too far. And it's a nice drive. We are about 30 minutes west of downtown Cleveland, right off an exit by the local mall.

This seems like if should be at one of the "destination" arcades.

Let's hope they pick it up. Nicely done on the MMAO too. Parameters! It's almost as if there had been some lively roundtable on the very topic! ;^)

Thanks Geech. I pay attention on here when I can. Lol.
Trying to be fair and realistic on this isn't easy.
Hopefully it goes to someone with a public arcade or museum. That would be ideal.

If this post is in ANY part, a reflection of this weeks earlier "MMAO" discussion, I must say that I can't think of a MORE perfect way to use/write-up an MMAO post. BRAVO GORFGuyOhio!!!! Well done! GLWTS and congratulations (in advance) to whomever lands this piece.

Well thank you. Quite honestly, I do see the value in running an MMAO style post. But I think there are times, and this is one of them, where throwing out a value is at least a starting point for the discussion on the selling price. So far, I haven't had an issues with the range I've thrown out here. The only other real option I think a game like this has, is to throw it on Ebay and see what happens. But the collector in me would rather it end up with someone here who will appreciate it and also make the transaction easy for me. Thanks.

All PM's have been responded to.
If I've missed you somehow, please message me again.
Going to give this a couple more days so that it is has about a full week to be seen by the arcade community here. Any questions, just ask.

Game is now on HOLD through tomorrow.
Update tomorrow night or Friday morning.
Thanks everyone.

The game is now SOLD and on its way.
Thanks to everyone who made an offer.
The game will be on display at an Arcade Museum in Nashville, TN. Look for for that in 2017.
I'll let the owner tell you more about that when he is ready. Thanks.
