Just a quick note- none of those are rare. i have owned them all more than once. Good luck with the sale

I think that the term "rare" is completely relative. As far as Playchoice games go, I would certainly consider Balloon Fight, Mario Bros, and RC Pro Am as "rare". I do not think that the fact you have been lucky enough to possess a few of them does not detract from that. This guy (http://members.bellatlantic.net/~vze3b3qa/pc10/videog.htm), who I am sure has had quite a bit of experience with PC games, considers Tennis as "rare". We all know that is a joke, but that was his experience. Realistically, all Playchoice games could be considered rare nowadays.

I would call Mario Bros, RC Pro-AM, Balloon Fight and Mario Open Golf some what rare.

On a scale of 1-10 I would probably call them 6's,

10: Not verified to exist (RBI Baseball)
9:Very few known to exist less then 10 copies amongst known collectors(NG3, shatterhand)
8: Very few known to exist less then 30 copies " "(Rocking Kats, Power Blade, SJM)
7: Moderate rarity (Yo Noid!, Nintendo World Cup, Volleyball, NG2, Megaman 3)
6: Not commonly found(Rc Pro Am, Balloon Fight, Mario Bros.)
5: Uncommon (T&F, Metroid, Castlevania, Gradius)
4: Moderately common (Rygar, Super Mario 2, Double Dragon)
3: Common (Trojan, Double Dribble, Pro Wrestling)
2: Very Common (Super Mario 3, Baseball Stars, Excitebike)
1: Dime a Dozen (Super Mario Bros, Baseball, Tennis ie the most common games)

Of course again totally subjective and entirely based on my own experiences as a collector.

Do you really think there are less than 30 copies for Rocking cats, Power Blade, & Solar Jetman? I only ask because I am surprised and I own all 3. :)

I think more exist yes, but in the hands of known collectors. I am basing this off of the various arcade nerd forums and websites that we congregate at.

Total in existence, don't know but what can be accounted for...I know less the 30 people with them so that was kinda the bench mark. I also know what a pain in the ass they were for me to get.

I know what you mean. I scored a SJM on here right after I joined and to this day it is the pcb that I paid the most for out of all the PC-10 pcb's. I got lucky last year when I stumbled upon a guy right near me selling 2 countertop models and I got Rockin Kats(with topper) and Power Blade with the unit.

So where are they listed? For some reason I am not seeing them.

sorry!!

the reason you can't find them is these "common games" all sold within 4 hours(except super mario). i thought people on this site would appreciate a heads up on these games which are apparently more sought after than these whiny complainers thought they were.

Look at this guy! 8 posts and he's a forums superstar! Keep up the good work, you'll fit right in here!

Really? I don't see them under completed listings either. Was "playchoice" in the title?
