I have a PCB that as far as I know I am the only one who owns one and it's not in mame. The game is Moppet Video's Berstine Bears Big Paw's Cave. It has the same lay out as Tug Boat, Noah's Ark and Desert Race. The board is a two stack board with pins from one board into the other board and also has teeny tiny traces from one side to the other. Has socketed rom chips on the top and bottom board. Game comes up with scrambled graphics and or white screen I can't remember which. Any recomendation(s) on who to send it too for repair?

Thanks Steven

Have you tried any of the common fixes first..like cleaning and reseating socketed chips..checking for proper voltages from the PS?

I reset the chips on top. No way to do the bottom chips (At least not by me) without damaging the traces or pins. Since it brings up the same garbage in a working Tug Boat cabinet the voltages should be good. I haven't messed with it in awhile but ready to get it going.

Thanks Steven

If you can get it working it would be worth dumping the ROMs/EPROMs for MAME as it's not currently supported. Of course, if they are corrupted then you're going to be a bit stuck seeing as no dumps appear to exist ...........

I hate to say it but you may need to get those stuck ROMs out and re seated..also need to check and replace sockets as well. The other thing to do would be to replace any caps on the board.
