Picked up a very nice Rapid Fire tonight and see the balls need to be replaced

Any idea how many I need? I believe they are 5/8 in size.

My brothers first try managed to get to like the 10th wave or something and a million points, sheesh

Crazy game, fun too

If you lift up the playfield it should tell you ? I would guess 2 or 3 balls

No, Rapid fire isn't a normal pin - it's sort of like crossing a pinball with a video game (and is similar to Hyperball). Some folks like it, some don't, but it takes a large number of smaller steel balls. You use the sticks to point your 'gun' at targets around the playfield and then fire (quite rapidly in some cases) at the things that light up.

Not my thing, but some folks get into these.

I have to say that is the most retaded place to put a piece of non-repeated technical info I have ever seen. Who puts technical data on the index only, seriously?

Damn that could get pricey. Pinball Resource says 1.60 a piece, that would be 135 bucks for balls.

Rapid fire uses a smaller ball.. the price you stated is for the regular balls used in pins....are the smaller ones the same price? If so that will be costly. Also the Game will play with less you just may not be able to fire balls as fast as you want--will need to wait for some to return the the bottom launch before you will be able to shoot some again, most of the time will not notice they are even missing.

marco has 5/8" balls for $1 each....when you order 50+

$1.75 for 1+
$1.50 for 10+
$1.00 for 50+

still pretty pricey if you need to order all 84. I counted mine earlier and i got 75. Doesn't seem to really matter though.
