I really dislike people who don't reciprocate on feedback. This happens on ebay all the time and now I am seeing it happen here.

I won't call anyone out by name but really guys - especially sellers. A buyer gives you money and posts good feedback for you. How hard is it to leave feedback for them? Buyers need the itrader boosts as much as sellers do.

Don't expect people to keep buying from you when you can't have common courtesy.

This also means don't make people chase you down to leave them feedback too. Just do the right thing.

Rant over. Thank you and have a nice day. :0)

Thank you for bringing this up. I usually include a printed note requesting feedback in the package, and email, and pm. I leave feedback, yet usually only 50% of members "return the favor". Some sellers have sold HUNDREDS of items on here, mutiple to me, yet fail to give feedback. So I stop giving them feedback.

In fact, I am a believer of "first come first serve" but if you "forget" to leave me feedback, I tend to "forget" to see your pm.... And I sell to someone else

Unless you use the Search By User Name thing up there, its sort of buried in the menus, I wonder if a lot of people aren't even sure how to access it.

No excuse for people who buy from me... My note and my email and my pm all have step by step instructions on "how to" leave feedback

i fully agree, i've left feedback for everyone who's bought from me out of my fs thread and people i've bought from.

80% return the favor.

I'd like to get some more feedback so please sell me stuff :D

I have no idea how to do it - can someone post in this thread pointing to where to go?

click the persons name (or in the trading sub forum you can click their total rating #)
click the feedback score tab
on the left under their total positive feedback you'll see "Submit Feedback For XXXXXXX" click that and proceed.

Yeah, there are some guys like riptor, dj dns, who I've done 10+ deals with, it only lets you leave feedback once so I bother with the guys I do multiple deals with.

I don'tknow how to check but I am guessing if I have 126 feedback or something like that, I've left over 150.

Ebay is starting to piss me off, because I've sold 30 things in the last 2 monhts, shipped it priority, the guy got it in 3 days from payment at the most, no feedback in 90% of them.

Yeah i would say 30% leave feedback I proly forgot one but most people do not leave it.

edit: I wish my post count would stay like it is 1985 great year I was 14.

Maybe I've got this wrong,
but I would think that giving feedback to a Seller
is much more important than to a buyer.

The buyer has all the responsibility of packaging and shipping,
and standing by the product he sells.

As a buyer, you only send money.
(...not that that is not important, but leaving feedback to a "great buyer"
does not mean all that much to me...)

I ALWAYS leave feedback to a seller ,
but not always to a buyer (..especially if the value is low ).

I admit to being guilty of not always reciprocating a feedback
if I'm the seller and the buyer gives me feedback.

If I've offended someone by doing that,
I certainly apologize as it certainly wasn't done in any mean spirit.

If I'm wrong in my assumption, and feedback to the buyer
is expected if given to me as a seller, I will amend my ways.

Since I sell more than I buy, I certainly don't want t piss off my clients !

;-)

LMK,
Steph

thank you Broodwich! i had no fucking clue how to do it. Whenever i get an itrader notification, i do leave it back as soon as i see it tho!

Heh.. I owe at least a dozen people feedback.. What I usually do is sit down and respond all at once.. Only way I'll ever remember..

I do the same thing... Sometimes I have like 5 or 6 boxes show up in a day.
I usually do it but I am guilty of forgetting as well.

Sorry dudes... :(

Great timing as I have been trying to leave somebody feed back, in return no less, but I don't seem to be able to. I get this message:

1. There was an error in your deal details!

No matter if I have the thread thread url listed or not.

Any hints?

I'm old.
I forget things.
Not an excuse, but it is the truth.
If anyone has done a deal with me and I have not left feedback, please remind me (Pretty sure if there was a note in the package or something I'd get it done).
Cheers
/Tim

I see that happen when you don't leave a note for the admins at the bottom...

Good to see everyone participating. I am glad this is a good discussion and not a flame fest.

Personally - When I sell something, the minute I see "itrader notification" I go and reply with feedback. When I buy something, as soon as I have it and am happy I leave feedback.

That indeed fixed it.

Thanks
Chris

About 60% of the feedback I give gets reciprocated. I worried about it when I first started on the forums, but I don't think much about it now. I have enough for people to draw their conclusions from...which is the point of the feedback system. I don't think I have forgotten to leave feedback for anyone yet. I only leave feedback for tangible transactions though.

I have no problem if someone reminded me that I needed to do it for them. I try to leave FB either as a seller or as a buyer for every transaction but you can forget if yu get busy. If someone leaves me fb it triggers me to reciprocate.

Bill

While normally I would agree that it's more important to give a seller feedback, with all of the bad deals and flake outs lately, I think buyers who are actually following through on deals and paying right away should be getting feedback.
