Anyone interested in attending a week long training program with Randy Fromm on arcade repair, up in Toronto Canada, please contact me

Gerald
416 759 9608

Seating is limited to 9 more persons ( Small class of only 12)
Pricing is under 1000$ US, waayy under!

He no longer does this sort of classroom training so it is a rarity to get arcade repair training from a gentleman of this calibre for such a reasonable price
recommended for operators, techs and those serious about collecting games, and pins who want to be able to repair their own games, professionally, especially monitors.Prerequisites can be discussed on the phone, but there are none really.

Full electronic tool suite
T shirt
lunches provided ( Hope you like hot dogs and beef patties, just joking brother in law is a chef)
starter supply of parts ( Lots of caps)
and for a nominal extra charge, probably a project game that will be fully up and running at the end of it by your own hand!

Let me know guys, check the wanted ads right now all over North America to see how many people can use the services of this " dying art"

While you're there ask him how you test the clamping diodes on the outputs of IC's. :p:D

What are dates??
Don't come home until Mar. but would love to go!

I think videorob was going to set something up at the Mohegian Sun, but that fell by the wayside due to his monster home renovation. I'm not sure how much I would get out of the training, but if someone were to put one together on the east coast I would be in, as long as it's within a reasonable distance.

But I probably wouldn't need Randy's course if we helped each other out. To piggyback on something Mod said a few weeks ago - IF YOU POST A QUESTION IN THE REPAIR SECTION AND SOMEONE HELPS YOU RESOLVE THE ISSUE OR YOU FIGURE IT OUT PLEASE POST A FOLLOW UP MESSAGE. Nothing is worse than reading through a couple of dozen posts only to find that it stops without a resolution. If I follow the suggestions posted will it resolve the issue? Is the game sitting dead in your basement? What the $%^& happened? I need resolution. If people would take the time to do a follow-up message most of us wouldn't need to drop loot on the course. Now back to your regularly scheduled program.

How much is "Pricing is under 1000$ US, waayy under!"?

When?

"Full electronic tool suite", is this included or something needed in order to attend?

-Tim

Randy said it's tentatively the week of nov. 9th. He said this was prob the last time he will offer a class. I would love to go but I'm not getting a passport for one week class and I can't afford it anyway :(

Good question. I can help sort out some accomodations on this end, on a case by case basis. If you are serious about coming down, I will help you out to not blow ten grand on staying here for a week, i guarantee that!

PS I may work on getting a couple of guys up here to do some sort of an" exchange program" for those who are in need, but no promises

Please convince Randy to do a one week session on the east coast...

Its too close for me to pull of another week long off from work plus I dont have a passport...or the money...

Date

Postponed until mid January
Schedule / course content coming from Randy soon as well
Any questions...call me, phone # on the first post

thanks
