I have all of his videos, too. They are very helpful.
He will try to give you advice whenever you need it but I guess I pressed my luck a little too much. I was really noobish at monitor repair still and was trying to fix a sega/nanao mc2000s. The flowchart didn't help and he tried to help me as best he could through email (above and beyond actually). I asked another question and I got the response "I am no longer able to offer this kind of assistance".
I still haven't fixed that monitor board though I have fixed several others. It left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll go back to it one day. I probably have more experience now and would know how to test the components better.
So to Randy I say "I'm sorry I was such a frustrating noob and please, if I need advice in the future, lead me in the right direction." You have helped my greatly with your classes.
I wonder if he would allow someone to record an updated version of his class. I can only take so much of the late 80's early 90's clothing before vomiting. lol.
