Before I pull this chassis out and start inspecting, what is the first thing to look for. I turned the machine on and it was running great like it always does. A few hours later I look over and it looks all out of focus. The innards were not touched.

Is this a sign that the flyback is dying?

It's dedicated, 3 player version.

I haven't even opened the back up yet, just wanted to go into it with a rough idea of what it could be.

Ok, I figured it was probably the fly too. I will open it up this week, get the model and order a new one from B.R.

Thanks.

While this is normally the sign of a failing (or failed) flyback, you can also check that the neckboard is on snug and that the wire from the flyback to the neck socket didn't come loose. Stranger things have been known to happen...

I have had this happen while transporting a chassis. It was a non-soldered style focus wire set-up and it got slightly pulled out of the neckboard socket. It would go in and out of focus or just be plain out of focus. It would be worth checking before ordering a flyback.

Thanks.

The Machine was moved about 2 months ago and has been working fine since and hasn't moved. It's usually on Friday and Saturday nights for 6-7 hours each night.

I will check it out before ordering the flyback. Thanks.

Ok, well I found the service manual and took some pictures.

Manual says NeoTec NT-2515C/NT25-E

The blurry gets worse the longer it's on. I tried another board and the same thing happens.

You can tell by the pics the pcb is really clean, I was impressed. So thinking just the flyback? The neckboard was on good, I even took it off and put it back on just to make sure.
