Rampage Restoration

I know you are considering trading this game, but I wanted to share this with you. I went to Fun Spot last week on vacation and my kids loved Midway's Power Drive. It is in the same cabinet at Rampage with monster trucks.

Wow that is just beautiful.
I used to play one of these at a water park and now I have a Rampage/Chlorine association.

Just wanted to update this thread and say that thanks to Fast Eddie Lutz, my Rampage finally has consistent sound! He repaired my Sounds Good board for me. It took him a while to track down all the cold solder joints and bad sockets, but he did it. I am not sure how many Rampage owners are out there, but if you're one of them, you have probably had sound issues with your machine. Mine would work sometimes, then go out, sometimes it wouldn't work at first but then would start working once it was warmed up, etc. It sucked. Now I can turn it on and I hear 'boing' the minute I coin it up. That means a lot to me. You know how happy I was when I heard that? Eddie does. Thanks Eddie.

Well I need help with my BG roms now. Can he burn them or help me with my graphic problem?

I have a rom burner, and live close to Dantebean. I have just never used it yet so I will have to try it out soon. And I got a rampage cab from him so I am thinking of restoring it back to rampage after seeing this thread. Great work!

There are drugs you can get for that kind of problem. Glad you got your boinger sorted out though. ;)

I'm doing a Rampage restore now and yours was amazing! Really glad this thread is still up with all the pics. If you see this after all this time, would you still recommend some tinted plexi over the monitor or not, mine has some burn, not bad, but curious if it would make it better. Also, did you really pull like 50 staples just to get the 4 grates off the back door to paint them?... Damn. Respect.
