Due to the interesting thread that Thebman80's machine restore has become, lets move the CPO discussion here. If the bman decides to partake, at least it's not at the expense of his restore thread!

OK, I don't need a CPO, but I would be willing to help if people think mine is good enough to scan. As far as having an "unapplied" one, we all can take the CPO off our machines as it's only on a thin sheet of metal. Just remove the 8 screws around the perimeter of the CP and also buttons and joysticks, and you have a scannable CPO in your hands!!

What do you all think?
This is my CPO, not perfect, but photoshop could easily handle the small fixes.

So, as you probably read in the other thread, FedEx Kinkos has a large format scanner that (if the thing to be scanned is flat...which of course it is) can have the CPO fed into it to be scanned (at whatever 600+ dpi is recommended). I'd gladly pay for a portion of the costs. When I talked to my friend who manages a Fedex Kinkos here, he said it'd run 20-25 bucks.

OK, the local "kinko's (Fedex)" only does large format in B/W.
What is it with WV?? <sigh>
Staples needs to feed it into their scanner, so metal takes them out of the picture.
Staples did say they would do it for $15 (if it weren't on steel).

Well, if I will be the one to help, it will be a home scan, but my wife is a professional photographer and photoshop enabled.

If someone else jumps in fine, I also won't be the fastest, but I will get it scanned at some point.

Rampage CPO Scan

Did you guys ever get this done? I'm searching everywhere for a decent hi-res scan...

Awesome! I could use a scan of the sign area. I have everything else scanned and making good progress.

Fwiw, the bman brought his cpo over a cpl days ago, and I have a 40" scanner.

Do you guys need anything to help with this? I'm stuck in a snow day here in the midwest and am staring at my Rampage cabinet without a CPO and dreaming of a day when I can print one :)

Want me to order you a pizza so you have some nourishment while you create the artwork?

Still need a scan or good photo of the sign area.

Man always miss these, not this time... Yes I intrusted Orion with the scanning process not in any hurry though I know how freaking busy he is with stuff. Anyone good with art vectorization? I'm not totally sure how to do it and have no experience with it nor the computer equipment at the moment.

Lets not turn this thread into another disaster like my restore thread lol.:D

While I'm no Mikanos I am pretty good with vectorizing artwork and would be wiling to take a crack at it. Just let me know when you are all scanned!

And - anything I do I'd want to be made available for free to everyone... this CP has been waiting to be made available as vector artwork for too long for someone to have it and not make it available.

Ok, go for it. Make sure you redraw every blade of grass. Or was it your plan to just have a software program do all that for you? Check Pastucia on EBay for that level of quality.
