Can someone ID this for me and enlighten me as to where I might find a replacement. It's probably easy to the experts but my skills are lacking in these areas.

That's a 74ls74 flip flop. Not ram. You can get one at any electronics supplier. Mouser, digikey etc.

That should work or if you want to get some at a lower shipping cost try Ebay.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/3pk-74LS74N...905?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5647a98eb1

3 chips for $4.75 including shipping or 6 for $6.10, makes each chip around a dollar.
Or 9 chips for $7.45, $.83 per chip or 12 chips for $8.80, $.74 per chip shipped

I've been buying a lot more chips off Ebay. Unless I have a big order, then I will probably use Digikey, Mouser, or Bob Roberts.
