I need help locating some RAM chips. The number on the chip is 42C4064-12. I have checked on mouser.com, therealbobroberts.net, digikey.com, twistywristarcade.com and jameco.com with no luck. I need two of them but if located I may buy a full set.

Is "twistywristarcade.com" the same as Riptor (Mike)? If not, check with him. Mystar might also be a good source if it is Atari related.

By the way, I got those remaining Gyruss parts and can bring them by the arcade this week or next. This Thurs or Fri should be good for me. I could also meet you there tomorrow (Tues) after 3pm.

I just took a look and I dont have it or even a suitable sub.
Is it a standard dip or is it a zip package? A quick search on ebay shows it available both ways.

It's a standard dip package for a Williams Strike Force game. After I posted to the group I did find that eBay listing and one other, but man that's high for a RAM chip. The chip is physically larger than most RAM chips for arcade games I have dealt with so far, they are 24 pin chips.

Ebay really is not a good place to buy chips but sometimes its the only place to find some things easily. I checked a few of my regular suppliers and came up empty.

Sounds like a .4" wide dip.

I have some HM53461's that I pulled from some board. They're untested but cross to what you're looking for.

Send me a PM with your address and I'll send them to you. I have 6 of them.
