I have an A.P.B. "All Points Bulletin" Arcade machine that I am trying to fix.
Through many hrs and people I have figured out to be a Ram issue.

This is where I started -

I have an 'All Points Bulletin" or "A.P.B." . When I turn the game on it say - Quicktest , Ram 3, Bad - I have pulled out all the ram chips one by one and even intercharnged them and I still get the same message.

Note - there is 1 ram chip thats attached to the board non-removeable.

I have found the manual -

go to google and type - "all points bulletin" arcade manual - pick the 1st link , gives you the pdf file.

I have looked through this and it does not tell me which one is "Ram 3"

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is where I got to -

Get this....

I tried a bunch of different things all day.

I put back in the computer power supply that was in it double check connections

It comes up Ram 2 and 3 are "ok"
Puases on Ram1
So I think I found where Ram 1 is and there is 2 Ram chips in this spot.
I took out both and switch places and put them back in.

turned on machine and started up!!!!!!!!!!

Though when I went to start a game it froze.............

Maybe I just need to replace that Ram???????

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Now I am trying to find the Ram chips I need to replace though having a hard time.
I have listed them below.

Note - In the manual these are listed as "Ram" not "Static Ram"

If anyone can help thank you in advance.
