I just pulled out a Rally-X boardset that years ago exhibited color problems. I plugged it into a Rally-X cocktail cabinet I had recently parted out to make sure it wasn't just a monitor issue and the screen came up dark with barely perceptible movement.

I re-seated the chips and got most of the image back, but the color was still off. But after I un-plugged and replugged the three inter-board cables the game came up perfectly, which indicated that the problem was related to at least one of those three cables from the start.

I have two questions.

First, I suppose that I can get the housings and pins from Bob Roberts and crimp some new inter board cables, but can someone tell me if there is a ready made source or perhaps someone who is an expert crimper I could buy some of these from? :D

Also, the game cabinet has no feet and as a result there is some repairable damage to the wood at the very bottom. (Of course this would entail having to get new laminate for the entire cabinet). So I'm looking for opinions on whether other Klovers would bother repairing and then selling the cabinet, or would they just junk it?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.
