Well, it has been raining non-stop for about 14 hours straight now, so I am spending my labor day sitting in the house. Thankfully, although lots of rain has come down, it has been steady and not TOO intense. It is supposed to keep raining like this until probably Wednesday. So, if you are on the east coast, this stuff is headed your way. Guess I need to go downstairs and play some games! :)

Yes, you are BOTH right. The storm was named ON MY BIRTHDAY! And the Tron pinball is definitely sweet. I'm not really "complaining", but rather observing that while many people are spending today outside cooking out, I'm watching it rain non-stop for an extended period of time. The longer it rains, the more I have to worry about water getting into my basement. Thankfully, the slow/steady pace of the storm has not sent an "overwhelming" volume of water down the mountain into the back of my house (yet). I used to get REALLY on edge when it rained this much, because there is always the chance that the water can travel up through the ground and get into my basement. I recently upgraded the drainage system and installed a sump pump in the ground under the basement, so I am not quite as nervous about it this time around. Of course, if it keeps raining like this for DAYS, then there might end up being an issue...
