Hello gentlemen,

I recently picked up a Raiden PCB and I have a couple of questions for you guys.

Question #1
-There is a resistor leg that is attached on the one side of a rom and not attached to the other side, although it looks as though it was once attached from the factory as there are heat markings suggesting so. (It may have come off during shipping)

-Anyone know if I should solder it back?

Note:
I asked the seller on the question above and he stated to leave it as is. I figured I would do so and if anything happened it would be on him. Upon trying the board there is a picture, but no sound.

Question #2
-I am wondering if there is a need for -5 volts on this board for sound... anyone know definitively?

Side Note:
Question #3
I am thinking of picking up Raiden Fighters Jet with SPI board and daughterboard cart at some point.

-Does anyone know what the specific differences are in motherboards? How can you tell if it is the SPI board that matches up with RFJ daughterboard specifically?

The archives state the following:

Conversion
The Seibu SPI system is cartridgebased with all game data on the daughterboards, so a game can easily be switched in except for IRaiden Fighters JetI, which uses a modified version of the SPI motherboard. To switch a game, simply swap the daughterboard.

On question 2... look at the JAMMA edge connector and see if the pin for the -5v connects to anything. ;)
