So big thanks to Ataritoobin for selling me his Radar Scope marquee and bezel they arrived beautifully, in stated condition and packed SUPER well - thank you man! Ever since I saw a few restores including a cockpit, I've fallen in love with the art, the story behind the game, and the game itself. (only through emulation though)

So anyways, I'm working on restoring a DK cab that has DKjr in it, and this stuff will probably end up going into - I am on the lookout for the PCB and control panel. Might even need to get a new power supply for the older board? It might just end up being Donkey Kong with radarscope art - who knows. I have the marquee sitting in my only operable Nintendo cab at the moment - I REALLY enjoy the this artwork and I think it's going to look great in my red cab project when it's finished.

This game was a commercial failure, which surprises me a little - I find this game a lot of fun and it's definitely a step above the galagas and space invaders in some ways. It's history is pretty interesting too, one of Miyamoto's first games and Gunpei Yokoi (Mr. Game Boy) supervised the conversion game Miyamoto made (Donkey Kong) to replace the failed Radar Scope. Sorry about the Nintendo 101 most of you probably already know this. LOL

We'll see if I can find the rest of the parts for a reasonable price!

It's cool that your into it, I couldn't see owning one unless I was dang near given one, no surprise there as many games from back then I have no attraction for as I never really played them, Nintendo cabs do look nice in a row, hoping to add a DK JR eventually.

I can help with some of the parts your after...

Ive basically got a complete control panel (Ive just recieved a brand new joystick ball to fit since I took the pictures).

Threes also a second overlay - yes both have cig burns but I'm sure a big bottle of Novus might get them out.

Theres also a Bezel that I thinks in nice condition.

I also have 2 pcbs...
1s upstairs at the minute - I was trying to fix it but I notcied that one of the legs of the crystal is broken but not be able to find a replacement yet. Ive had to install quite a few chips that were robbed from the pcb such as the sound cpu, change 3 RAm chips, fit new pots so have already spent a bit on parts on this one!

The 2nd pcb is down the workshop. I hooked it out to bring home but forgetten to do just that. From memory it came out of a radarscope cab I had (that got sold to someone turning it into a red donkey kong)! I actually picke dup 2 cabs - there were 3 there! But this was in Ireland so nobody get all excited unless they want to ship :)

Im thinking this 2nd pcb could have worked....

I did have a radarscope marquee too, but I cant seem to find that right now o_O Maybe I traded it to someone...

Anyhow, If your interested in the lot, feel free to make an offer, but do bank on I'd guess $25 shipping as I'm in the United Kingdom

As long as you get the 4-board Radarscope pcb it will work with the standard DK PP-7B power supply. You will need the additional 7P power cable not used with the DK 2-board set but the power supply is set up for it.

If you get the 5-board Radarscope pcb you will need the earlier PP-7A power supply which has connection for both the 7P power cable and an additional 6P power cable.
