Does anyone have a Racing Jam or can give me any info on it? Good game to own? Going to look at one (not working). Owner says monitor reads, "rtc self check failure." Is that bad? New chip? Board? Also, said seat is missing the hand brake? Can I find one? I love projects but also do not want to get burried.

Thanks for the replies

ok. if its not working don;t even bother. the board was extremely experimental and more then 80 perect are prone to fail. i learned this the hard way caus ei bought one thinking it would be a simple fix. nobody really fixes them except one member who can put a asai chip in it so there is really no american fix on it. this is going back a bit. maybe gut it and convert into a jamma racing game.

How many of the parts are interchangeable? I have a crusin world and would love to have another. Is that possible to put that into this cab?

Not very many of these were made and the parts are hard sometimes impossible to find unless you buy another machine. It is a good game though and revolves around racing Japanese import cars,Integras,NSX,Supras etc. The E-brake allows you to drift through corners and serves no other purpose.
