I purchased a "Compact" Race Drivin' from a local warehouse clearance sale yesterday. The PCB and monitor both seemed to work but unfortunately it was missing the belt between the steering wheel and feedback motor pulleys. I looked through the manual and it has a nice write-up on how to replace the belt but they failed to give one important piece of information, the size or a real part number for a replacement belt! I searched the forums too but could not find anything here either. Rather than look for a used one, I would prefer to try to find a new one but I am not sure of the size I need since I do not have a broken one to go off of. Short of pulling the entire assembly to take with me to an auto or lawn parts type store, I was hoping someone could give me the specs (width and circumference) or even better a part number that I could use for a cross-reference.

Thanks in advance!

I'm going to keep an eye on this thread. I'm interested in knowing, too. I'm pretty sure mine's still all together and has the belt, when I get to pulling it apart to clean & rebuild (in the next few weeks) I'll be sure to take measurements.

I remember finding it somewhere... they said you could get a replacement at NAPA. I just did a really quick search, but couldn't find it... I'm sure someone will chime in with the link.

You could just take a piece of string, wrap it around the pulleys approx how the belt would, mark where the two ends meet then measure the string between the marks with a measuring tape. Figure maybe an inch less possibly for slack, etc and you should be at least close.

But you'd also need to know the width, and I believe there's different angles as well. I can check mine tomorrow... IIRC I actually replaced it a few years ago, so maybe the part number on it will still be relevant (I think it was from NAPA).
