I have a Race Drivin' cockpit version that no longer works. Everything worked on it except the shifter, which was not acting quite right. So, I took the main boards out, very carefully, and didn't see anything terribly wrong. After putting them back in, nothing works anymore. I don't have the time or interest. Probably an easy fix for someone that knows what they are doing.

The force feeback wheel worked. The key worked. The moving/locking seat worked. Everything but the shifter. It even looks good.

Free if you can come and get it.
If nobody wants it, I might part it out.

Located in Concord, NC, right outside Charlotte.

Nice - a Hard Drivin conversion. You could probably get it working again by just reseating the cables between the boards, and Mylstar sells a NOS shifter. Would be a cheap cabinet after all is said and done.

I'm so glad you're not closer as I would probably take it to link to my Race Drivin Cockpit...

This is a great deal people - somebody pick this up!

If I had even 2 more square feet in my garage, that thing would be gone! Good luck to you, and the lucky guy who picks it up.

let me know if you want to get rid of the main board set. i am interested.

I dont think its a conversion. they made a yellow one and a red/orange colored one. i have one of these and a hard drivin, the hard drivin one is a deep red color not red/orange and the hard drivin cabs did not have the link hole and cover for it. i think its the real deal. best way to find out is the shifter mech.

It could still be a Hard Drivin' conversion. The color is probably just faded due to being near a window or perhaps at the front of an arcade. They had a sticker kit that you just slapped on the sides and you drilled a hole for the link cable. Or I could be wrong. In any case, hopefully it goes to a good home...

Where is the link hole located, and what's the diff. in the shifter mechanism?

race drivin uses a solenoid for shifting force and hard drivin uses a big magnet along with a stress sensor on the shaft of the shifter.
