R-Type Side Art RollCall

A BIG thanks to Charger and Oregon Arcade who had some good sideart
that was offered up for repro.
Last time I checked it wasnt available and want to be sure no else is working on this.
So if theres still interest out there I'll send this out this week for full sized scanning to speed things up.
Will be a solvent inkjet, 3m plotter cut vinyl with a Silk-Screened Clear coat.

Mine's in good shape, but I'd love to restore this and recover in black vinyl. New Side art is the only way that's even possible.

My control panel and sideart are purfect what I need is the marquee mine is faded as well as I'm sure others are. If i remember right its just a mylar or whatever that sits behind the glass. I think it would be cool to have it silkscreened glass. Not sure if thats possible or if people would frown on it but even if it was just the mylar one I would take it.....Thanks....Dave

I think the marquee printed on plex would be fine.

Phet, that R-Type is a survivor. If you are doing a Phetstoration, start with a better/uglier candidate. You could sell that baby to a local as-is.

It took me quite a while to find ANY R-type near me. You're right though, I'd hate to redo this one as it is in such great original shape.

Wow. Looks great Rich. Price is great too! I know of atleast one game hoarder who will be getting a set.
