Ok 299.00 is it this is the lowest I'm going if it doesnt sell I will be parting it out and making a DK out of it.. So if anyone is interested in the boardset marque and control panel shoot me an offer for the set and I will keep your pm and if after a day or two theres no takers on the complete game I'll box the items up and get you a total. I dont like to part stuff out but when theres no interest and its the same style cab I need less a few mods what do ya do,plus its plywood. I will also trade it for a DK if you have one ,or if you have a purfect dk monitor bezel, marquee, control panel, and a working boardset maybe we can trade for the RTYPE parts. So if interested pm me.Thankyou....Dave

Wow it sure looks like it. I know there is a few slight mods but whats different could be a tad taller not sure I was going to look at a flyer or something to see if I could get cabinet dimensions.Unless someone has some info allready for me....Thankyou....Dave

I don't know all of the differences but we did have a DK and my Rtype side by side for a while at last year's Seattle Pinball and Gameroom Show. The Rtype control panel was higher, by about 6 inches if I remeber correctly. Also, the Rtype monitor is horizontal. I always asssumed the cabs were the same but the differences were obvious side by side.

Comparing cab dimensions, and I dont know it looks pretty different in the front profile where you look through at the monitor. I thought maybe the cabinet was just taller but it only appears to be an inch or so taller according to arcadeshop measurements. I'll have to do some measuring myself when I get home.

yeah, the two cabs are different. i had an R-Type and a Popeye (converted to Mario Bros.) for a while and side-by-side the differences were quite noticable. i would question whether the bezel would fit, and i know the control panel is completely different (wood on DK, metal on R-Type.) either way, i know it's not a simple "kit" style conversion.

Should be the same cab as the dedicated PC-10. They used wafer board, particle board, etc. Totally different cabinet.

For me, it's the ever typical "If I had the money" post.

At the moment, I have plenty of room, since I just replaced a HUGE 6 slot neo geo with a 2 slot mini...
