R.I.P. PacMan x 2

The coin door and at least one control panel look pretty nice.

Both coin doors and cps are nice.

Even though they are trashed , I'd still save them for something , I'd feel bad throwing them away .

I will be breaking out my electric chainsaw today. The cabs are too far gone, and it is the humane thing to do. The will have given their lives so that other Pacs may live on proudly.

the t molding on that one that is peeling looks good.

the strange thing is, with the horrible condition of those cabs, that g07 looks really clean!

In case I'm not 12th in line, PM me when (and I do mean when, there is no if involved) you put those Pacs out of their misery and part them out. I might like one of the coin doors. The door on my Galaga rebuild is iffy at best.

In case the one with the halfway decent side art is not rotted all the way, a local flea market vendor sells coffee tables made out of arcade game sides and pinball playfields. Trim the rotten wood off, add some screw-in legs and go sell it back to the last owners for $100.

If one of the sidearts is decent, cut around it and make art for your game room wall!

Wood is too far gone, the wife thought of doing just that.

Totally trashed

Very clean, going to cap it later today.

These cabs are a good example to use when someone parts out a completely working and good condition classic game. Shows them when it's okay to part out.

Amen to that.

This is dedicated to those two cabs , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOvjQD7yBfE

Felt sad as I took the chainsaw to cab #1 a little while ago.

A tear just fell from my eye!

That is horrible. What did those games ever do to them?!?

Send them to Valhalla.......

Here are the pics from what was salvageable.
The following list of parts are spoken for, but if you see something you need LMK via PM.

  1. Both Control Panels
  2. Both Coin Doors
  3. Both boards
  4. One set of marquee brackets
  5. Both test switche assys
  6. All 4 control panel pin brackets
  7. Possibly 1 monitor
  8. 1 set of monitor U-brackets
I have not had a chance to confirm all of these items with people yet. I am working on it right after I get done uploading all of the pics. If you don't hear from me tonight, send me a PM and ask me if I have what you need or just forgot who asked for what parts.

There is one 4600 that currently has vertical collapse, and a very nice G07 that I will be recapping tonight. I will also be rejuving the G07 tube, possibly tonight.

You got alot of parts out of those games !

Definitely worth $100 !

I'm not feeling so bad now after seeing all that stuff that can be used to help other less fortunate Pac cabs in need .
