R.I.P. PacMan x 2

These 2 Pacs will have given their lives so that other Pacs may live on. They both will be cannibalized to the fullest extent of the law.

Yes, they both have organ donor cards. I checked.

Things are not all bad. In fact with those cabs busted up like they are, this is a perfect opportunity to create the very first....

E-PAC-MAN: as in, Environmental Pac-Man.

It could happen....

Is that an old Volkswagen in the back of the first picture? You should have picked up that as well... ;)

In my quest for a Pacman cab with decent side art, I was drawn out into dueling banjo country today. The local CL snipers had alerted us to ywo Pacmans for sale @ $100 ea. One of our local guys ran out there and looked them over, but they were inside a trailer and he couldn't tell their condition. He said he thought it was a pass, and that they offered both to him for $100.

Well, I gathered up Timbre and we rolled out there. These poor old boys loaded up both of these dead Pacs into our truck for $50, and we headed back to civilization.

WARNING!
The pics that are about to follow in the next couple of posts are very graphic and should NOT be viewed by people with weak stomachs, weak hearts, children of any age.

Slap a 48-1 in them, and list them on CL for $2,000 each. :D

Seems to work around here in Phoenix....

wow! looks like those games where sitting outside for awhile, at least you can part them out and save another pacman

Well, at least they were decent enough to replace the monitor belt in this one. I've had a belt go on a WG before, and the fucker swallowed all the valves.

That said, what a shame...

I was just reading threw the end of the tread to make a comment about the napa belt. lol :D

I'm always amazed at how bad some games end up looking. Its like someone went out of their way to fuck the thing up as much as possible without actually throwing it in the landfill...

Based on a box of spare parts that we got with the games (they were actually pinball parts), I have a really good idea of how the games ended up in that trailer.

There used to be a small time game dealer in a nearby town. I went to his place a couple of years ago to find about 20 cocktails and 10-12 uprights and 2 pins sitting out in his back yard. There was also a semi trailer there and I think this is the same one. With some heavy leather gloves I would love to dig through the rest of that trailer. I'm sure there are more spare parts that wern't found.

I was thinking of MAME-ing them.

But it was a quality Napa montior belt.

I'm really suprised they budged from their $100 ea. price.

The sun was starting to set, and there weren't no vittles on the dinner table.

The G07 works, but needs a cap kit, and maybe to be rejuved.
The 4600 also works and looks great, except it has vertical collapse.

mame or 48 n 1 would be cool . Even though they are trashed , I'd still save them for something , I'd feel bad throwing them away .
