After replacing my umpteenth Ms. Pac man, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Asteroids.

I am combatting the humdrum with some random not so popular titles;

over the past few weeks I added;

a minty Cosmic Avenger (my 1st dedicated Universal)
a Taito Alpine Ski
A Centuri Eagle
and a cute Kangaroo.

keeps it interesting

So long as you're having fun that's what matters. Even classics can lose luster if you play them enough, zero harm in branching out and sometimes you wind up tripping across something you really like you wouldn't have otherwise picked up.

There's someone looking for a price average on an Eagle upright:

I'm guessing you'll have a better idea of value than I do (I hadn't even heard of it until that price check thread), looks like he could use a bit of help with it.

price checks are KLOV propaganda...

If there is a game I want, I pay the asking price.

hagglers are a different breed. If ya get a chubby from beating out another
collector for a few bucks than god bless ya.

my price opinions are skewed compared to those who troll these boards

Heh, well just figured I'd point you in that direction as skewed is still better than the zero he's working with at the moment. :) Prices are definitely an individual thing, there's things I've picked up for prices way above what the KLOV price militia would even think of paying, but it was worth it to me at the time. I'm not haggling with him, I just figured I'd tried to put a data set, skewed or no, together with someone looking for data.

For the sake of content relative to the actual topic of the thread, any surprise winners in that set or were all of them games you knew you would really like?

Yeah, i really like the goofy games. My gameroom currently has the goodies (Tempest, Robotron, Gyruss, Frogger, Q*bert), but also has Carnival and Kangaroo with Lethal Enforcers thrown in for good measure....

I actually loaded up Eagle in MAME last night after seeing it here and in another thread. 3 different rom revisions, the wave after the first landing murdered me in rom set 1, rom set 3 I wasn't digging the design of your ships, but overall seems like a really fun game. Yay discovering cool games I hadn't even heard of, that one may have to go on the "if i had a million square feet" list. :)

I just checked out your website. It's very nice but i don't see any prices except a $1,600 Track & Field?

Thanks bro, in fact that Track & Field sold last month. It was a complete from ground up restore. (twas a thing of beauty)

anyways I updated my site with all the new games. thanks for the kind word
