Quick Question - Can I turn the cabinet on with the monitor disconnected?

Just wondering, is it OK, if I turn on my arcade cabinet if I currently have the monitor disconnected and removed? I would just like to test out something with the lights and I wanted to make sure it was ok to still do that if there's no monitor currently hooked up. Let me know. Thanks!!

Pardon my ignorance. I don't know what raster is. It's a Ms Pacman cabinet I am talking about.

you can power it up just fine.

no harm will come to anything in that game without a monitor.

Came up in your other (monitor swap) thread too

FYI, Raster basically means not vector as far as on this forum

A screen thatpaints the screen every so often (15khz std res cga, 30hz hi res vga, medium res/ega between there) line by line, every pixel, as opposed to a vector monitor that moves its beams at will (xy)
