We're planning some purchases in the next 30 days, anyone care to lay out a recommendation on late model equipment they've played and liked. All genres included.

I don't know how recent this one is but 'Big Buck Hunter Pro' is one I always play when I see it. Normally $1.00 per game. What can I say, I like 'gun games'. :)

Yup, "Safari" is the latest version and it is on the list- good pick.

GT 2010 in the works? I'm sure it is- we'll be waiting until its release before buying any more GTs.

Now H2O does look interesting, but my results with the prequil- Hydro Thunder was "soft". I will admit the bystanders seem to like H2O but there are not many actual players that I have heard about. At $6900 per copy I am adding it to my list with an " * ".

Thanks for the comment.

How about the latest NASCAR game? Played 8 linked together at D&B and it was pretty cool.

Also, has anyone seen a Justice League Hero's United? Looks cool, but I haven't seen one yet.

Seawolf...Does the original justice, evan has the same sounds but updated for redemption.
Love me some Seawolf

Hydro Thunder is one of my favorites, so I would really like to try H2Overdrive. The safari game is fun.

I like Mario Kart. On our recent vacation my son was rather fond of Guitar Hero Arcade.

Man... that Nascar setup looks pretty awesome!! That's gotta run.. what... $100k - $125K ish?!

If I remember right they were under $6k each so that would only be $48k for 8....

Seawolf... hmmm that might have posibilities... Thank you.

MAAAAAR-R-R-RIO Cart- hmm, the original or 2?

Yes 6900 for H2O, if you know a better price, by all means share- it might be worth a benjamin to ya. Hell, if you sign up direct with Betson's lease program it ends up at $8500!

Yeah, Guitar hero is on the list- but I'll prolly wait until the fall when the new songs are released. You never know if they are going to inventory-protect you or not...

I work for an op, and he went to a trade show a few months ago. His and everybody that went with him's favorite game was the new Sea Wolf like mentioned above. I don't believe they're all that expensive, either.

there is a version of that nascar without the extra bells and whistles. My local arcade has a row of 4. It's actually a damn fun game and always gets lots of play. The new rambo also gets a lot of play at the local arcade.

The Sea Wolf is a fun game. I played it at a CiCi's Pizza locally. I didn't even notice that it was a redemption type game as it was not set to output tickets. I think it was set at $.50 per play.

Indeed. Blazing Angels cockpit is hella fun.

And Razing Storm is *amazing*!!!

I never cuaght the price on blazing angles, but I'm sure its up there. Raizing storm IS up there- I think it goes around $17k, but I could be off a little.

Rambo is being considered as it's under $6k.

Among others being considered are Sega Rally 3 and Global's Twisted. I'm likely to pass on them though because the Rally is more of the same (IMO) and Global has a less than stellar reliability issue.
