I've been reading threads on these, gaining appreciation for these Neo's, so I jumped when I saw this one pop up on craigslist. It's a 2 slot system, with Samurai Showdown III & The Last Blade carts. They were asking 2 bills, but dropped to a buck fifty if I came and got it right away. No problemo, I seys.

Cab is fairly decent, but will require a bit of love. Bolt holes from security bars, and some slight water damage at the bottom edge of one side. Still, no rush to redo it, I'll probably patch the holes, touch up and clean the rest of it for now. No clue about the games...really don't know much about Neo's at all...time to learn. =)

Vert. collapse? Can adjust it smaller, but not bigger. Otherwise the monitor looks pretty sharp.

Nice pick up. I recently sold my 2 slot for $1000. Had to think about it hard because I looked forever before I found a nice mint unit but the money was too good to pass up. I may get another one someday.

You can't go wrong with a Neo Geo even if you hate fighters.

Play this on a continous loop until you get it all fixed up. Congrats. I came within inches if getting a one slot but the deal fell through. FOr some reason nintendo stuff and neogeo stuff is super rare in my area for some reason.

having a Neo Geo with a good multi-cart is a great addition to any gameroom. my 2-slot went out on location last year and i've been thinking about picking up another one to keep at home and put my 138-in-1 back into. the 25" monitor on the [pretty compact] dedicated unit is really worth it as well.

Nice pickup. I love my MVS-2. If you do get a multi, put it in the first slot. When it's in slot #2, you have to boot the game, hit Game Select, choose the game from the multi menu, then the game reboots back to the first game and you Game Select to get to the game you selected from the menu. Personally, I lean towards using real carts. It is kind of a bummer with the MVS-2, though. I'd probably swap for a MVS-4 v1 to get some extra slots in the same cabinet size. The later v2/v3 cabs are way too big.

Nice pick up! I just recently picked one up too and love it so far. I'll be picking up a multi cart for mine.

I see you have the same curved button layout as mine, which I think is cooler than the angled layout. I wanted to replace my cpo, but then realized that the repros that Anthony made are the angled button layout. :(

ArcadeOverlays looks to have them, but I'm not 100% sure that's the one. Take a look and let me know if that's the right one for ours?

I really need to place an order for key chains soon...

Nope. Those are also inkjet printed on polycarbonate, no plexi. The repros that Anthony did are screened on plexi, like the originals were. The only problem is that our button layout is different from the repro: http://www.quarterarcade.com/Game.aspx/10810
