Quick Bally Solenoid & Sound Plus PCB questions...

Trying to get a game fixed tonight with spare parts, just need a couple questions answered...

1. Can an IN5275A diode (at VR1) be replaced with an IN4004 or IN5235 diode?

2. Can the 470uf 6.3v 105 degree cap be replaced with a 470uf 25v 85 degree cap?

Thanks in advance...

1... Who knows? The data sheets know! Go to http://www.datasheetarchive.com and look up the parts. As long as the forward current and the peak inverse current are high enough for the circuit you are good to go.

2... Yes. Provided it fits in the space it needs to go into.

Looks like nothing matches up. The original looks like it got cooked but is testing around 750 on a diode test. In the game and working for now, but I guess I should replace it.

Yes, it fits, and its working. Just wondering is the 85 degree replacement is a permanent or temporary fix.
