So I have some jukeboxes now, for better or worse and I have a few questions. I'll have many more I suspect and I will just add them to the thread.

Question #1: The storage unit I bought has a bunch of these amplifier boards for various jukes. Here's a pic of a few of them but I have about a metric poop-load of these things and I'm just wondering if they are good for anything. Should I just dump them? They weigh a ton by the way.

Also, I have thousands of tubes. Here's a few of them:

And the first actual juke box I brought home is a Rockola 494 I think. Questions #2: Does anyone care about any of this stuff or should I plan on just hauling it off?

Questions #3: I know this isn't a juke forum so does anyone have a recommendation on a better place to post these questions? Thanks!

Errrr. I didn't realize there was a juke section. I must be tired. Can a mod please move this? Sorry!

no clue if there is a demand for the amps. If the tubes are good I'm thinking they may have some value either for vintage home stereo amps or guitar amps.

Not a juke guy but question #2 - I can say that you should probably hang on to / sell the tubes. Defiantly don't just throw em out.

They are hard(er) to find (at least around by me) and are used in all kinds of amplifiers etc.. I know my father has a fender guitar amp that needed new tubes and it was a pain to find em.

Is there anything like a price guide for these things? I have something like 5 different ones and I'd like to make an informed decision on these. I've heard that the market on jukes has tanked, right?

Jump over to the jukebox forum at www.phonoland.com and post your message there. People are always buying jukes and then discover the amplifier is missing.

Your picture shows some late model amplifiers too.

The guys at phonoland would be interested in the tubes too.

Hi,

As Ken says put a post on www.phonoland.com.

You should be able to sell all the 125 and 130 Rowe Ami amplifiers on Ebay (have a look there is always a couple of sellers in the USA that have no trouble selling these amps).
There was also some Seeburg amp/control units and all those tubes are always wanted.

The tubes are definatly worth some cash as I paid 25.00 for a tube I needed off ebay. The amplifiers are worth money as well especially if you have a way to test them.. Heck if you had a nice clean working one for a Seburg firestar I might buy it.Good luck.

You could google antique radio sites/blogs for the tubes. The old guys that are into old wooden radios have the money to spend on their hobby.

Here's the others that I have:

One is a Rock-Ola model 452 and the other is a Rock-Ola model 456. They are kind of interesting to me and each have a copy of a painting on the top that opens up. They look like 70's era radio consoles to me but when you open the top you see the jukebox inside. Here's a few pics.... do these have any value? Is anyone here interested in them? I also posted pics on the juke forum over at phonoland.

I'd like to get that dollar bill acceptor if the price is right I'm missing mine.

Sorry, that whole machine is spoke for now. I have dollar bill acceptors mixed all throughout my stuff but don't know if any are the one you need. I'll start putting them all in a pile as I go through stuff and post pictures at some point probably.
