Well, I didn't see this anywhere else (didn't search to hard either)

But,

Does anyone here own any of the machines used in the movie ? who's Discs of Tron Enviro ?

If there are people here, what was the deal ?

The orignal movie had a much better selection of arcade games in it. If your asking, most of those 80's games are what people here collect.

As for discs of tron enviromental. It was a large stand in 1 player cabinet. A pic of the cabinet is in this link.

Discs of tron also came in a 2 player upright, but it lacks the speech of the envriomental. The envriomental is huge, but it highly sought by collectors.

I think he's asking who owns the individual cabinets you see onscreen, not what kind of games there were. As in, who here owning an EDOT sent it off to be put in the movie.

States that for Tron Legacy they:
"Chexx Bubble Hockey rented, plus purchased (and sold many back) 40 games including Photo Booth, various Nintendo games, plus many 1970/80s posters from our arcade background stockpile"

Some of the machines used in the movie can be bought from: flippers.com

It's a company that rents out games and sells them in the Vancouver area.

Corrtect :D

Just wanted to know if anyone here owned any machines and if so how'd they go about it and so on

MIght have been Vintage Arcade Superstore.

Got it.

I was at gene's place the day after he got his games back from the Flynn's arcade rental. He said he provided some and another company provided others. I am pretty sure that was for the event in san diego comic-con. Don't think it had to do with the movie.

as for how to go about getting in on it, unless you know someone in the production of the movie, they probably have some short list that hit up for such rentals.
