I need to make a full set of new woooden blocks for leg levelers on a game. Where do I get the threads from that are inserted into the blocks? How are the threads secured into the blocks, are they barbed? This is the first time I have ever had to make these things.

Thanks!!

Home Debit and Lowes both carry the 3/8" T-nuts.

T-nuts work, but they aren't the strongest at staying in particle board. They tend to get ripped out when scooting games around.

The T-nuts work best when put into the back side of a wood block. You then flip it over, attach the t-nut side to the bottom of the cab and thread the leveler thru the hole you drilled into the back side of the T-nut. You need to drill the hole all the way through the block obviously. That way, when you tighten the leveler, it sucks the t-nut back down, into the wood block and makes it impossible to tear out.
