I've got an IGT slot from 1992, and it needed a battery replaced. I was hoping to get lucky and not have to use any clear chips but it looks like luck went the other way. I have some S+ clear chips that I have used on a slot that was manufactured a few years later.

This one has the board mounted on the left side of the inside, whereas my S+ has it mounted at the rear behind the coin hopper. This slot may be an S+ as well but I am not sure as I don't mess with slots that much.

Will the clear chips I bought for my S+ work on this model as well? The boards look similar of not the same so I am assuming they will but I wanted to ask first.

Thanks,
Brandon

It doesnt sound like an S+ but not sure if the S+ clear and set chips will work in it.
I have seven S+ machines right now and have had others in the past. All have the board mounted in the rear.
What error are you getting? Might be able to clear it with the reset button and reset key.
