not a lot of experiecne with nintendos.

so i have no P7 sound wire harness coming out of my power supply, but i do have it running from my 2 stack board into the monitor sound board.

1st question. which pot on the monitor adjusts sound? mine is pretty quiet, but all sounds are there.

2nd question. if you have the p7 sound harness running from the logic board to the sound board, should i move the harness i have now to the power supply?

thanks in advance.

Audio board is powered from the monitor chassis - do NOT move any wires around. If something was wired incorrectly you wouldn't hear anything.

Volume pot - don;t remember which one but if I had to guess it'll be the one on the far right or far left.

thank you. pic if anyone has one, i have no pots to the right, and what look to be only video adjustment pots to the left. the sound board, from what i see, doesn't have any pot on it...

right now, the only thing that adjusts the sound is the logic board pot.

When viewing the monitor from behind, the far left pot of the bank of pots on the left IS volume.

This is good advice - even a slight tinkering with the sound wiring in both Donkey Kongs I've had makes the sound cut out to minimum volume. Finnicky stuff.

(The sound pot for the monitor in the cabaret is under the bezel. Not convenient!)

thanks, phetish (jbarket, phetish got ya by a minute). i owe you a coke, beer, or cookie.

put that in my "basic azz stuff i should know" checklist.

Heh, I guess I'm spoiled with the cocktail...the sound pot on the monitor board, as well as the other adjustments are all right up next to the front of the monitor with very easy access. The one on the sound board on the actual PCB (cocktail has the 4 board stack) is a little harder to access, but not impossible.
