So there's a 2.2uf(K) 50v cap on my 4600

Does the (k) mean X1000?

Cuz the replacement cap (2.2uf 50V) is about 15x smaller than the original

will upload a pic in just a bit

The cap in question is a high frequency bi-polar cap. The value is 2.2uf50v. Do not replace with a regular bi-polar cap....if you replace it, use a high frequency cap. High frequency caps are generally 10 plus times the size of their non-high frequency counterpart.
