T-MEK in the pickup...

I just won an auction on one of these monsters (the two player cockpit style) and I'd like to know what all of you fellow owners would suggest/recommend for moving this big sucker? I'm hoping to have at least three guys helping me load this thing into my buddies pickup. I know the game separates into two pieces, but that's about all I know.

We're picking it up on Sunday. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!

AAAAAGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

Here's what you do:
1. Reserve and pickup a box truck with a lift from U-haul.
2. Load that sucker up - Put it anywhere in there - it ain't moving.
3. Get some coffee, Mtn Dew or whatever you fancy
4. Follow these directions: http://g.co/maps/3e3ue
5. Put that bitch in my house

:D

Heh heh nice. Yeah, a buddy and I were quite excited about this and I couldn't resist. I figured $310 was a good buy, considering how it looks. We both enjoy the game thoroughly and played it a lot back in the day.

I've seen one of those Tetrised into the bed of a pickup, but I have no idea how the hell it was done, nor would I recommend it :p

Get a lift gate box truck

They do seperate but it leaves you with a large heavy box and seats. Your not getting that into a pickup without a forklift or loading dock and getting it back out would be bad.

I own two of these (need to get one more to have the full 6 player experiance).

Well I got lucky and it turned out that the warehouse operator had a nice forklift and made the lift into the truck a breeze. I also was lucky enough to find 5 friends to help. The warehouse was only 15 miles away so we were able to just barely squeeze everything into the bed of the pickup.

Next order of business is to make a to-do list including cleaning everything, adding some (needed) screws to some of the panels, running through the system tests and making any needed adjustments.
