Had this in a different thread, but thought to move it here... Could someone with a SS take a look at their spider hole popper for me? I need to know if there's any type of metal wall in the middle of the 'cup' on the assembly (where the ball falls into). I'm missing this assembly, but have an very similar AFM popper that has a partial wall in the middle and a scoop welded on top, either of which I could remove if needed. I'm not sure if there's a guide wall or anything like that on the original SS part. Am I making sense? Thanks for any help!

Thanks for taking a look for me! The AFM assembly also has the ball guide, so I think the modification would be as simple as removing the curved scoop from the top. I still haven't got that desperate, but it could come to that.

Ha! I was able to separate the seam going up the side of the scoop weldment with a pair of vice grips. I was then able to hammer the scoop flat allowing the ball to shoot straight up with some guidance. It works perfectly every time!! It's a shame to have to damage an original AFM scoop, but replacements for that are apparently much easier to come by than this SS assembly.
