I need measurements for the vent holes on the top panel.

Thanks to ItsAnAgent for the original pic.

Jus for the record, measurement 5 is the width of the hole and 6 is the space between the holes.

Also, I'd like to know what's the white sheet material placed behind the marquee light and how is it mounted? I assume it's screwed on from the top, but jus checkin.

Here's what I mean, also thanks to ItsAnAgent: http://img35.imageshack.us/img35/8646/img1724e.jpg

Bump.

Still lookin for some help.

I have a couple other questions.

How is the glass retained from the top? I know the bottom is stopped by a metal corner bracket fastened on the edge of the monitor shelf, but I've been lookin through pics of every restore of this cab and I don't see how the top of the glass is stopped. What's retaining the top of glass on this cabinet?

I also need to know where to drill the hole for the power switch on the top of the cabinet.

Please if any Konami cab owners out there could assist me on this, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.

Ok, looked at my Turtles cab. First the retaining of the glass is not retained by anything. The glass fits up into the monitor shelf and just rests under the control panel. It cant be pushed up into the cabinet as the glass is taller than the area inside the cabinet so it just sits in that corner bracket with the control panel over it and locked down. Ive owned two tutel cabs and this is the same on both.

The white sheet behind the marquee light is not on mine. Mine is totally built in with wood so its not needed. I know what your talking about as several of my games have these. Its just cardboard paper to keep the light from the marquee from coming down into the cab and messing with the pic. The use of white is just to reflect it outwards through the marquee glass better. All mine have been mounted with staples.

The hole for the power supply is as follows

The top is 20 x 27
from the backside the hole is measured 7 inches and from the side its 2 inches
The hole is 1.5 inches round
It measures from the outside of the hole to the vents at 4 3/4 or from the center of the hole its 5 1/2

Thank you iluvcars! These details really helps!

Jus want to be clear about the glass.

So nothing stops the top of the glass inside the cabinet?

If the glass were to be pushed up from the outside - even with the CP attached and locked - what exactly inside the cabinet stops the glass (and bezel) from being pushed up and exposing the monitor?

I'm sorry for misunderstanding that. It's important I'm clear on this so I know what size to order the plexi.

I can take measurements of my glass and some photos of the inside of my cabinet on monday. I just removed my monitor so I can get a couple of nice shots.

That would be great! Thank you :)

I really need a clear shot of what's stopping the top of the glass (if anything) from the inside. Thank you!

Ok, the piece that the speaker mounts to has a wood piece (in the pic its being touched by the green wire) that is mounted against it. Which is about a 4 inch by 1 inch piece. It stops the monitor from going up into the cabinet.

Got it! Very clear now. Can confirm this is how the cab does it. Thank you Iluvcars!

Nerdygrrl, you can still share those details if you'd like. Either way thank you for assisting as well!

Hey, sorry, we got pummeled by a huge storm and haven't had power. I will try and take photos tomorrow if there is light/heat at my office.
