Question Centipede Cocktail Monitor Size?

Pretty easy question. I am trying to confirm that the Centipede Cocktail and Centipede Cabaret both use a 13" Monitor. Thanks in advance.

IIRC, the cocktail and cabaret both used 19" monitors, same as the upright. However, some cocktails could have been ordered with the 13" monitor.

That's not to say that there weren't cabarets made (or retrofitted) with the 13" monitor, but the ones I've seen have all had 19" monitors in them. FWIW, the flyer seems to bear this out.

cabaret has a 19 inch monitor.

Most cocktails will have a 13 inch.. they only made 25 cocktails with a 19 inch so the standard one you will find around has the smaller monitor.

Interesting. It's been a long time since I last saw a Centipede cocktail, so I'll admit I could be (and likely am) misremembering, but I could have sworn to 19" being the standard size on them.

Is there anything detailing the production numbers for 13" vs. 19"? Something in Jed Margolin's Atari documents, maybe?

yup... have seen both styles also.

Hm, guess I had it bass-ackwards. And I realised after looking at that attachment that I've seen those exact production numbers before as well; they just never soaked in, I guess. Appreciate the clarification.

No problem.. only reason I know is I was doing research after eyeballing the 19 inch cocktail the guy has for sale in Florida for a while.

Pretty rare but he wants crazy $$ for it considering its condition etc.

Yeah... And I think my confusion came from having had a Centipede upright, knowing that the monitor was shared with the cabaret, and somehow translating that into, "it'll also swap with most of the cocktails" as opposed to, "sure, you can put a 13" from a cocktail into your upright or cabaret with enough work unless you find one of the really rare 19" cocktails."

If that's the one I think it is... Agreed.
