I want to add a Juke box to the "Arcade". I like the CD100 wallmount units.

Can i just get one of those, hook up a cdadapter (their website), and get music off the CD100? Or do i need more than that to get this operating?

The "CD Adapter" is a conversion kit that converts it from cd's and turns it into a hard drive based MP3 player. If you were planning on using this 'converted' jukebox for commercial use, that would be illegal as this 'adapter' is only designed for home use.

Ken, Home use only (in my backyard Arcade!).

Not sure i got it yet - excuse me for asking for clarity - so, i purchase the Rowe wall box (CD 100), hook it into the Adapter (that holds the music that i put on it i suppose) and I am set? Just mount the Wall box to the wall, select music and listen?

If thats all there is too it i will be doing this.

That auction link is for a "wallbox" which is a remote selector unit that connects to a remotely located full-size jukebox. This is the link to the adapter that guts it out and turns it into an MP3 jukebox:

I thought you were talking about regular full-fledged wall mount CD jukeboxes that Rowe makes like the "Berkely" model (a.k.a. "WP-100" ).

Sweet - thanks for the link. Yeah, i am just new to these and need to research more to get the terms / models / etc down.

I tell you though if i had the room - i would get a Rowe CD50 they are gorgeous.

Any suggestions for a reasonably priced / compact / 80s or so jukebox that has a minimal footprint? Thats why i am eying the "Wallettes".

CDadapter.com sells other products for wallboxes as well. I've got several different wallboxes placed all over my house that you can select music from all hooked up to their adapter that plays through my home stereo.
