I have an area 51 site 4 game that im having rebooting issues with. I havent had the time to fix it, ive been told its the hard drive but something tells me it isnt. Im ready just to give up on it and hopefully throw another game in the cabinet and move on. My question is if I want to sell the pcb and HD, what cables if any should be included with it? Im very new to all of this and want to make sure I include everything I should include with it. I can even pull out the marquee and guns as well too. I will list it in the "for sale" section when im sure of what I need to include. Just want everything to go smoothly without issues. Thanks in advance!!

bump.. anybody, please? I'd like to list this pcb asap but I dont want to have anything missing that I should normally include. Im very new to all this and would rather ask questions to make sure im doing it correctly.

Pretty sure all you need to worry about is the HD cable and the HD power cable. I don't have a Site 4 but if it's like Area 51/Max Force, that's all you should need. Just pull the entire board along with it's supporting metal piece (if any) and sell it as a unit. The only things you should have to unplug is the Jamma connector (the really long one) and the guns.

In my opinion you have two optioins:

1 - Complete "kit". This should include all of the wiring necessary to make the game playable in anyone else's Jamma cab. This includes the marquee, game board (with hdd), guns, and all cabling that runs between these components. The buyer of this kit should be able to plug the kit into a Jamma wired cab and play the game.

2 - Board only. This only includes the game board and possibly the marquee. The buyer of this kit will need to assemble the other parts in order to play the game.

The important part to remember is you do not want to strip any of the normal cab wiring from your cab.

Thank you for the advice!! Im thinking ill do the marquee, pcb, hard drive, and possibly the guns too, even though I think 1 gun needs a new censor. Any idea what thatd all be worth?

A quick review of sales here show prices anywhere from $60 to $220 for Site 4 parts.

Considering that you's isn't working fully, but you are willing to sell it as a whole kit I'd say $200 is a good starting point.

Ok thanks. Now I just need to figure out what wires im supposed to keep with the cabinet and which ones need to go with the pcb and hard drive. I appreciate all the advice. Like I said im new to this but trying to learn quick. I can already tell itll be a hobby that wont fade for me anytime soon!
