On a Paperboy cabinet, there's a black vinyl covered piece that makes up the 'front' of the control panel 'box'. It's 3/4" particleboard. If you unlatch and remove the control panel from the top, you expose the top 3/4" edge of this panel.
On mine, the top edge of that panel has a slot cut in it, as if a t-molding slot. If there was t-molding in this slot, the metal control panel would rest on, and basically cover it up. Was it originally supposed to have t-molding in that slot, and if not, why is the wood slotted?
